Movies need passion, that is what growing cities has

MW

From a story tellers point of view, Rock the Boat: Saving America's Wildest River was the only film with a compelling story, the only film that showed conflict. Every good story needs conflict.

Good luck to all.

Gotta go with Growing Cities — filmed in more than 20 cities across the USA, spreads an important message, and incredible footage…can't beat it!

Vote for Fort Apache..made in New York!

Gloria Wolfe

I voted for rock the boat because this film has taught me that no mattet how small or dirty a river is, hard work and motivation can turn the river into an amazing, gorgeous river that people will always be able to reconneconnect with their families while kayaking down the L.A river. Last but but not least I am so proud of the director, my aunt Thea Mercouffer.

Henry Tibbs

Can't wait to see Growing Cities — they've raised more than $37,000 on Kickstarter…a seriously hilarious and great looking film!

Regina

Fort Apache looks amazing! The creative potential of the film makers is apparent. To nurture theses creative talents is a must!

Sue Lannin

I voted for Rock The Boat: The LA River Expedition because it is a compelling and well-crafted film about how people are working to reclaim and befriend a channelized, cemented-over urban section of an abused river. This film shows how citizens are respecting and reconnecting with nature, not only to build community and democracy, but also to save clean water, a valuable life-sustaining and limited resource.

JACK EPSTEIN

makes me feel proud to be in LA and hope for the rivers here.
