Douglas Booth & Logan Lerman Set Sail With Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah'

The waters will rise and life on the planet as we know it will forever be changed. No, we’re not talking about the latest environmental documentary, but instead about Darren Aronofksy‘s brewing Bible epic, “Noah,” and with Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Saorise Ronan all booked for passage, a new pair of passengers (of the human variety) are joining them.

Douglas Booth (“Great Expectations,” “The Pillars Of Earth“) and Logan Lerman (the upcoming “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower“) are boosting up their young resumes, booking roles in the film. As you already know, the film is a re-telling of the classic Sunday School tale where Noah builds a ship, as commanded by God, and stocks it with pairs of all of the earth’s animals, before an unholy storm of rain basically drowns the planet and everyone on it. That’s some real Old Testament noise. Then, in the 1930s, a guy named Indiana Jones tries to track it down…..wait….we’re getting our arks and movies mixed up…..

Anyway, Deadline suggests that Connelly might not be locked down just yet, but Booth and Lerman will play Noah’s sons, Shem and Ham. Still to be cast is the villain of the piece, and we’re kind of curious what exactly that means. Filming is set to begin this year with a March 28, 2014 release in the books.

DEE stop dreaming jews never existed at that time say hebrews and FYI they were darkskinned people not like those ashkenazy jews
and in the torah they say shem was black and beautifful ,ham was black like a crow so tell me why are they white lol

There is a villain in the Noah story? Is it Mother Nature or sin?

Pretty sure Raiders of the Lost Ark is set in the 30's

Finally, Logan Lerman playing his first Jewish role (well, old testament, so it's close).

I hate to be that guy however the word decimate means to get of 10 percent. That is why it is called DECImate. A common usage means a lot or a percentage. But the classical and correct usage is to eliminate by a tenth

We are still casting white people, when they should be black roles??

Fight Temptation

For some reason I really REALLY want to punch both of those faces. And I'm not a violent person by nature. Lol

Anyone notice none of these people look anything like what you would imagine ancient people from the MIDDLE EAST looking like?

Sucks that Neeson's not doing this.
