It's only been 24 hours since our last bit of info on "The Dark Knight Rises" so don't worry, the movie hasn't been canceled or push back. Phew. Kidding aside, the clock is winding down on the film with just over a month to go before we see Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the series — and at 2 hours and 45 minutes long, he's not kidding.
Unlike Fox and "Prometheus," who unfortunately dropped some key scenes into their endless array of trailers and clips, Warner Bros. tends to respect Christopher Nolan's request for secrecy (even to the point of yanking some footage that was shown on cable television from the internet for some reason). Anyway, a few more peeks at the movie have landed online, thanks to some scans from "The Dark Knight Rises: The Secret Files Scrapbook" which hit bookstores this week. It's essentially a fanguide to Gotham, and inside we get a look at shirtless Bane, and some new snaps of Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and
Robin John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).
If that isn't enough, a new TV spot has also arrived, letting you know that tickets go on sale on Monday, June 11th. So if you don't want to be shut out of the inevitably sold out showings on opening weekend, get on it. "The Dark Knight Rises" opens on July 20th. [ONTD/FirstShowing]
