Watch: Video For Maroon 5's 'One More Night' Directed By Peter Berg & Featuring Minka Kelly

After bringing a board game to life in this summer’s bellyflop “Battleship,” Peter Berg decided to give himself another challenge, one arguably harder than bringing a board game to the big screen: he has to make you belive that Adam Levine is a sensitive boxer. That’s right, block your ears, because the new single by Maroon 5 “One More Night” is here with Minka Kelly filling in the role of the requisite piece of arm candy.

Surprisingly explosion free, the video positions Levine as a puglist who tries to do right by his hot wife and cute child but ultimately gets dumped anyway. Boo hoo. The contrast between Levine the boxer and his dog whistle pitched singing voice is unintentionally hilarious, and you can’t really buy this pampered celeb as some kind of lower class fighter hoping to keep the lights on. But the video does give you the satisfaction of seeing the face of the “Moves Like Jagger” guy get battered.

Anyway, watch it below. We have no idea if they have a new album out or are touring or whatever, but your local soccer Mom should be able to fill you in. [ONTD]

As much as I would love to see Levine getting the ass kicking of a lifetime. I won't see this. The dude is so full of it. He tries to come off as some badass with tattoos yet sings gooey pop crap.

My venom towards him is way more personal. Being a longtime Nine Inch Nails fan for a good 18 years and having own nearly everything they released and seeing them 3 times from 2006 to 2009. Maroon 5's butchering of "Closer" into a folk-lounge song offended me. Never in my life did I really want to pummel someone to a bloody pulp ever since Linkin Park destroyed "Wish". I can handle bad NIN covers but that one really pissed me off.

Wow. There was some venom in that post. Did Levine stiff you out of some royalty payments? You're going to take some years off your life spending that much energy "hating" on someone else.

Songs About Jane is a pretty great album. It's a shame they went even more crassly commercial after that. If they made a jazz-pop album I have no doubt it would be fantastic. Their Sinatra cover is awesome and their jazzier stuff is cool as shit. Now they make watered down, artificial pop garbage.
