Am I THE ONLY ONE?! I mean, why didn't somebody tell me about Boondocks? Listen, not that it's returning for it's 4th season, but I have never seen one episode! That's right, Mr Blabber Mouth who runs his mouth incessantly on all thangs related to black cinema, had not watched 5 seconds of the award winning program. WHY? Well, maybe it's because when I have my remote channel changer in my hands (I call it the zapper) I zap by Adult Swim and black anime for adults faster than I do FOX news. That's right, they get no play from me. But last night, after finishing my dinner of lasagna. mustard, collards and turnip greens and watching BET's Sunday's Best, I looked up and this guy Peter Popoff, a German American televangelist and self-proclaimed prophet and faith healer, was on my screen pimping and pandering black folks. I couldn't zap his ass fast enough. A commerial for Black Dynamite took it's place. I looked and listened and then a rerun of Boondocks ( EPISODE 9: A DATE WITH THE BOOTY WARRIOR was on full display. Let me tell y'all, timeless hilarity! The writing is tight, genuine and all that good sh*t. I mean, I can't find the words to express all the finer points of that series, but it's diffenitely "rich", engaging and funny as hell. In that genre, it's probably the best thang smokin' — that I've ever seen. Aside from the superb writing, the voice-overs felt so real and natural. In other words, the actors were wearing those parts in a convincing and uncontrived manner. Look, if truth be told and Carl Jones, a member of the creative team behind the The Boondocks, is behind this project — Black Dynamite — this black man is ALL IN. On the other hand, while I was watching Boondocks, my lady was in another room "UGHing" and "WTH(ing)" and "SHH" and said, "what is that mess you're watching… they're bleeping out ever other word so it can't be any good. And did I here something about somebody wanting somebodie's booty? Carey, what the hell are you watching?". *LOL* So it looks like I'll be watching Boondocks and Black Dynamite when she's not around.

This was not a continuation of the movies theme this was an insult to Michael Jackson!
