Here's a look at Viola Davis on the set of her next project, The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby, which stars Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, in a love story that explores a New York City couple's relationship during a difficult time in their marriage, from both perspectives – that of the husband (McAvoy), a restaurant owner; and of the wife, a.k.a. Eleanor Rigby (Chastain), who goes back to college.
Also in the film are William Hurt, Isabelle Huppert, Bill Hader, Ciarin Hinds, and others.
Ned Benson is directing; Cassandra Kulukundis is producing. Myriad Pictures is producing and financing, with production clearly underway in New York.
Still no word on what role Viola is playing in this; although I'm certainly hoping that she isn't relegated to the usual BBF (Best Black Friend) duties.
She looks great though! Glad she's rocking the natural cut too. Just check out at her frame and how she poses in the pic immediately below, and tell me that doesn't make you salivate, wondering just what other kinds of characters she could play on screen that she hasn't played yet.
