Abu Dhabi Film Festival Releases Full Program; 'Arbitrage' to Open, Followed by 'Flight' and 'Beasts'

The Abu Dhabi Film Festival announced its complete program today, featuring over 160 films from 48 countries around the world. Nicholas Jarecki’s “Arbitrage” will open the festival, which runs this year from October 11-20.

Other highlights will include Pablo Larrain’s Cannes favorite “No,” which Chile recently tapped to represent the country in 2013’s Foreign Oscar race, and several entries from The United States. In addition to “Arbitrage,” Robert Redford’s “The Company You Keep,” with Shia LaBeouf and Susan Sarandon; Robert Zemeckis’s “Flight,” starring Denzel Washington; and “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” directed by much-lauded newcomer Benh Zeitlin will screen in Abu Dhabi.

Opening night is scheduled to host appearances by “Arbitrage” stars Richard Gere and Nate Parker, as well as bold-faced international names like Mammootty and Golshifteh Farahani.
