Can't wait to see this!

Do my eyes deceive me? Dark brown man and woman deconstructing what "back of the bus" means and having conversation about films with subtitles? I'm in heaven. Didn't know this kind of thing was in this film. I had wanted to see it anyway but I am loving this.

sooooo looking forward to this film! oyelowo is fine w/ me so far – have to see the whole piece for a final thought. in IWF, my least favorite performance was the angry cousin – came across as overplayed for me. as everyone agrees, sally was perfect & IWF is just a gorgeous movie!

tryin to see this. nigerian brethren stannup! oyelowo represent!

Oyelowo looks like a little boy to me who has not yet learned to shave properly, and he has no screen presence IMHO. I thought he was aight in Planet of the Apes, the role did not really require much intensity until the climax, and in all fairness he did well with that. And it's not like he is typecast, he is getting all kinds of different roles so it's really a puzzle isn't it? And IWF to me was mostly a very pretty film; Sally is gorgeous (much prettier than Halle) and did well, lovely scenery and house, and well placed music as you noted. The aunt actress did ok to me I guess, but the only actor who grabbed me was the angry cousin. And of course Omari-lol. I agree he was underused, his relationship with Sally was almost like an afterthought. I am loving what we see with Out of Nowhere though, and LOVE the song in the trailer–I've only seen Emayatzi (props to her for not changing her name!) in one film and she was great. And LOL @ stabbing folks in the eye. I try not to reveal the endings of even older films if possible, just in case someone hasn't seen it.

ooooohhhh yes! can't wait!

That last line was cute and unexpected. Really looking forward to this.

Ok, this is not an astute cinema observation, just some man sh*t. This woman is canttakeyoureyesoffable! Chocolate, sexy as hell, educated with a little sass and flirt to her. That's ALL ME right there.

Do anyone know the origins of the character Oyelowo is playing in this film? What does he do for a living?

October 12th can not come soon enough!!! Congrats to Ava and the AFFRM team for bringing this story to theater. This is a win for all indy filmmakers.

Juicy!!! Emayatzy Corinealdi is so pretty, especially in the second clip. I see that Lorraine Toussaint is in the film also. I'm excited!!!!!
