Harlow Project Seeking Participants For Street Harassment Web Video Series

NEW YORK, N.Y.AUGUST 28, 2012Harlow Project, the producers of the in(HER)view: a conversation with Black women web series announces its latest project about street harassment. The video series will ask people to share their street harassment stories.

Harlow Project is seeking people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in this new video series. Harlow Project will conduct man/woman-on-the-street interviews in various cities around the country asking people to share their stories about street harassment whether experienced or witnessed.

I want young girls and members of the LGBT community to know that they are not alone and that as a community, we are not going to tolerate street harassment anymore,” says Harlow Project founder Charla Harlow. “This conversation must happen. Our stories will be told.

Charla Harlow is a director, producer and photographer. The Syracuse native is currently based in Brooklyn, N.Y. Harlow Project’s mission is to produce projects that create a community of consciousness. The goal is to talk to everyday people and give them a platform to share their stories by creating a space where we can talk genuinely and truthfully.
