Watch Full Pilot Episode Of New NBC Series 'Revolution' On Tuesday Before September 17 Premiere!

Giancarlo Esposito co-stars in this new ensemble cast thriller series that premieres in the upcoming new season on NBC, titled Revolution.

The project is yet another J.J. Abrams creation along with Eric Kripke, and is described as a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

Esposito, who earned acclaim for his performance in the most recent season of AMC’s hit drama Breaking Bad, plays a character named Captain Neville described as “a southern lieutenant with an air of mystery.” If any actor can pull off “an air of mystery” it’s Mr Esposito. In fact, he can pull of just about anything!

Maria Howell (Detroit 1-8-7Single LadiesMississippi DamnedThe Blind Side) also co-stars as you’ll see in the preview below.

Jon Favreau directed the pilot episode, which is scheduled to premiere on NBC on September 17; however, per NBC’s Twitter, audiences will be able to watch the full pilot on NBC’s website, tomorrow, Tuesday, the 4th of September!

The exact tweet reads:

Granted it's got Giancarlo Esposito in it and was directed by Jon Favreau of Iron Man does not make it a great show. Seems like from the scenes in the preview, it wants to capitalize on the success of The Hunger Games. Also not to sound like a supporter of the NRA, but swords and flintlocks, really? With the amount of firearms floating around the world these days, this premise is kinda far-fetched. Not that all the power in the world couldn't be turned off, all that would take is a size-able electromagnetic pulse to fry every item using a circuit. Actually, I'm putting waaay too much thought into a show that more than likely won't last a season like J.J. Abrams previous effort for NBC, Undercovers.

sick of gimmicky thrillers that drag on for years. Not watching.
