Larenz Tate and Nia Long have booked recurring roles for the second season of the Showtime comedy series, House Of Lies, which stars Don Cheadle.
Tate will play Cheadle's (Marty's) younger, less-ambitious, activist brother, while Long will play a fellow consultant and former classmate of Cheadle's (Marty's) who proves to be a formidable foe.
Of course, Tate and Long starred in the best black film ever made (to some people) – 1997's Love Jones, so this is as close to a reunion as the two have gotten. Prelude to Love Jones 2 maybe?
Based on the book, House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn, the second season of House Of Lies begins shooting in Los Angeles in November, and will return to Showtime on January 13th at 10 pm ET/PT.
House Of Lies is a subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Cheadle stars as Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant who will use any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information that they want.
