Morris Chestnut, Christina Milian, Lauren London, Tia Mowry Confirmed For 'Baggage Claim'

It was a month ago when Shadow and Act reported that Morris ChestnutLauren London, and Tia Mowry were all in contention for parts in playwright/director David E. Talbert’s rom-com, Baggage Claim, for Fox Searchlight, based on his best-selling debut novel about a flight attendant with thirty days and thirty thousand miles to find a husband.

We can now officially confirm that, amidst all the names that have been mentioned as attached to this project, Chestnut, London, Mowry, and also Christina Milian, are all going to be in the film.

No word yet on what roles exactly all of them will play, but we’ll find out soon enough.

These actors join the previously cast Paula PattonDerek LukeOctavia SpencerTaye Diggs, Trey SongzJill ScottJ ColeDjimon Hounsou and Adam Brody in the film.

Here’s the synopsis for Baggage Claim:

Pledging to keep herself from being the oldest and the only woman in her entire family never to wed, Montana embarks on a thirty-day, thirty-thousand-mile expedition to charm a potential suitor into becoming her fiancé. Whom will she choose? Damon Diesel, a P. Diddy wannabe; Reverend Curtis P. Merewether, pastor of Greater House of Deliverance, Tabernacle of Praise, Worship, and Miracles; pompous attorney-turned-councilman Langston Jefferson Battle III; or Quinton Jamison, a multimillionaire who’s twenty years her senior?

Patton stars as our husband-seeking flight attendant.

Baggage Claim has begun principal photography.
