Watch Episode 1 Of Sexy New Web Series 'Lenox Avenue' (Al Thompson, Dorian Missick, Others)

You’ve probably seen the online marketing efforts for Al Thompson’s new web series, Lenox Avenue, in recent weeks.

It’s finally made its debut, with the first chapter, which you can watch in full below.

Executive produced/created by: Al Thompson, Lenox Avenue follows the fast-paced metropolitan lives of Harlemite friends Owen (Al Thompson, The Royal Tenenbaums/Love Don’t Cost A Thing), Sellars (Dorian Missick, TNT’s Southland), and Vaughn (Ryan Vigilant, Gossip Girl) as they learn that in relationships even with experience, there’s no playbook.

In episode 1, Sellars finds himself in the doghouse; Owen picks up some glasses; and Vaughn learns a secret.

Buffalo stance

WHY are they standing like THAT?

God awful! The acting, the writing, the directing. And the sound, the bar scene sounded like they were outside. Character development was nonexistent. No set-up, no catalyst or inciting incident, nothing to make me consider tuning in for the next episode. I feel bad because I really wanted to like it. They should consider hiring real writers and directors. I'm sure they know plenty.

I get it… fu*k being funny or sexy or well acted, just included a bunch of multi-racial couples, add in a sex scene, including oral sex… and BINGO, we're ready to go. NOT! But I know what was missing, to make this party really poppin', they needed two gay dudes, one a Mexican and the other a blind one legged African, jerking off each other in an elevator. That would have been sexy, funny and entertaining. NOT! But as soon as I saw the words "sexy" and Dorian Missick, I knew we were in for a real ream job. Listen, this guy, Al Thompson, must have too much damn money and no real friends. Somebody should have pulled him to the side and offered him some tough love. That is, kicked him in his ass and told him to wake the fu*k up. Look, as Akimbo said, we've been bamboozled, lied to and led astray, and this motherfu*ker should have seen it's last day… BEFORE Shadow & Act showed us that BS.

Wooow. All that build up and waiting for this? The promo had so much style , was so dynamic, and made the show seem well-written and interesting. Definitely not the worst I've seen, but way below expectations considering Thompson's pedigree and the actors involved (especially the ones in the promo). I feel bamboozled.

Eww, she kisses her boyfriend right after getting it in with ole dude in the storage room? Then her coworker ole girl wants a turn for herself directly afterwards? Ewww…..This series must be directed at men period.

I'll give the next couple of episodes a shot before I completely write it off…

this episode was GARBAGE… Feels like people have been talking about this for EONS and they debut with this nonsense? WEAK. Get new writers. Photography and the sound quality gave me hope to the bitter end but but the story/character development was not there. No special reason to root for any of these characters or even care about them. Jokes are dull. Just because a show is filled with sex doesn't make is sexy. Where is the sizzle? Hopefully they didn't shoot a million episodes down this lane.

Um. No. and no. What universe? When? How? No. just no.
