After Over 10 Years Away From TV, Keenen Ivory Wayans Heads To TV Land's 'Happily Divorced'

Yes, it’s been that long since Keenen Ivory Wayans actually acted on television – he guest-starred in just one episode of My Wife And Kids (which starred his younger brother Damon Wayans), in 2001.

And he’s be doing the guest-starring thing again, when he appears on the January 9 episode of TV Land’s Happily Divorced, playing co-star Tichina Arnold’s ex-boyfriend.

Happily Divorced was created by, and stars Fran Drescher, and revolves around a Los Angeles florist who finds out her husband of 18 years is gay (inspired by Drescher’s own real-life experience).

The new season of Happily Divorced premieres tonight, November 28 at 10:30 p.m. on TV Land.

As for the status of his In Living Color reboot… last we reported on it, it’s in Limbo, although not completely dead.

While he's on the "Happily Divorced" set he needs to be sneaking in a conversation with the executives at Nick at Nite. Maybe he can reboot "In Living Color" (or a similar show if Fox owns the rights to ILC) on Nick at Nite following Tia's new show.

I wonder if Tichina Arnold's role on the show got super expanded because she's been all over tv this week from daytime tv to Bravo's Watch What Happens to BET's 106 & Park supporting this show (and spreading awareness on Lupus).

Good for him, I liked his comments on Eddie Murphy's specials and thought…'he's still kind of funny'

I'm going to check out the season premiere of "Happily Divorced" tonight. I've seen just a few episodes of the 1st season but I want to see the roles play out
