Sorkin Reveals Structure of Steve Jobs Biopic

Walter Isaacson’s bestselling Steve Jobs biography was nothing if not a door-stopper. So  writer Aaron Sorkin’s challenge was to figure out a way in: cradle to grave biopic? One slice? The Oscar-winning “The Social Network” scribe went with something closer to “Slumdog Millionaire”‘s ingenious way of using the questions as entries to parts of a life. At The Daily Beast’s Hero Summit, Sorkin revealed that the biopic will come down to three key scenes, all leading up to a major product launch and end with the Jobs line, ‘Here’s to the crazy ones.’

As for “Newsroom,” he said that the second season will end the day BEFORE the David Petraeus scandal. (More Hero Summit interviews include Eli Lake vs. chessmaster Garry Kasparov and Madeleine Albright.)
