It's finally arrived fans of the series!
The new chapter in the Battlestar saga – Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, a prequel to the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series, which co-stars Canadian actors Karen Leblanc (Nurse.Fighter.Boy, Defying Gravity, High Chicago) and Adrian Holmes (Frankie & Alice, Red Riding Hood) as Jenna and Lt. Decklan Elias, respectively.
As Emmanuel noted about a year ago, the SyFy network eventually settled on releasing Blood and Chrome as a web series, in ten 12-minute acts, instead of as a TV show.
However, it's since been revealed that the series will eventually make it to the SyFy channel, in one two-hour uncut broadcast premiere, but not until February 2013. It'll also be released unrated on Blu-ray & DVD also in February, after its TV debut.
Following the release of an official trailer, episode 1 of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome was released on YouTube via Machinima, today, and it's embedded below.
Luke Pasqualino, Ben Cotton, and Lili Bordán, also star.
Set in the tenth year of the First Cylon War, the story follows William Adama as a young man, with the call sign "Husker." William, being a recent Academy graduate, is assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. He is ordered to escort a young woman, who eventually turns out to have vital information that carries significant importance to certain Cylon secrets. The routine mission eventually turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal part in their story.
