Berlinale Announces First Competition Titles; Ulrich Seidl, Gus Van Sant Included

The 63rd Berlin International Film Festival has announced the first six films from its competition lineup. 

The films include productions and co-productions from Austria, Chile, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Spain and the USA.

In addition, the festival announced that Christian Rost and Claus Strigel will present the world premiere of their documentary "Unter Menschen" (Redemption Impossible) in the Berlinale Special.

The 63rd Berlin International Film Festival runs February 7-17, 2013.
