Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. has named Dan Sherlock president of Cinedigm Software. Sherlock will report to Adam Mizel, the COO/CFO of Cinedigm, and will be responsible for all aspects of the operations at Cinedigm Software, including production, technology, business development, sales and marketing.
Prior to this placement, Sherlock was president of Baseline, a comprehensive film and television database; he also held executive roles with The Walt Disney Company and Movies.com.
"With both technical and marketing expertise, Dan is perfectly suited to lead and grow our robust software business," said Mizel.
Cinedigm's software group continues to make high profile hires, including Larry McCourt and Rob Springer, who joined Cinedigm as senior VP software and sales marketing and senior VP and product manager of distributor solutions, respectively.
