HBO Renews 'Girls' For a Third Season
HBO has renewed "Girls" for a third season. Star and executive producer Lena Dunham (who also writes and directs episodes of the show) reportedly told Alec Baldwin in a Podcast earlier this week that Season Three would begin filming "at the end of March."
The second season of "Girls" premiered on January 13, the same night Dunham received two Golden Globes for the series. The opener drew 866,000 viewers, and 1.6 million over three telecasts.
