A post-civilization drama from the hills of the appalachian mountains.
Civilization is at its end. America has been reduced to a land where only a few, strictly-governed communities still exist. All else is Shadowland, where there is no rule of law and where fear is the common denominator of all men. Gil Parsons is a wanderer in that place, wary of the strangers he encounters, as the circumstances of his existence call into question the inherent nature of mankind.

About the Production:
“I want to make this film because it is a story of true character. My father is the definition of a great man. When I was young I asked him why he never cheated anyone or took advantage of people when he knew he could get away with it like I had done as a naive youngster. His simple answer was “Because I sleep better at night”. I’ve made it my goal to live by that ever since. Everyone has a dark side and a light side. Always chose the light because you’ll sleep better at night.” — Steven Wesley Miller
