While Anne Hathaway continues to receive numerous awards for her turn in Tom Hooper's "Les Miserables," this hilarious new video attempts to provide academy voters a reminder of why exactly Hathaway deserves their recognition in the first place.
The clip, which finds Hathaway reworking the film's standout song "I Dreamed A Dream," stars Emma Fitzpatrick, last seen in 2012 horror film "The Collection," as the video's Hathaway stand-in, dressed in full "Les Mis" attire, dirt and all. On top of offering a shockingly strong vocal performance of her own, Fitzpatrick lovingly skewers Hathaway's Oscar buzz in the wake of her Best Supporting Actress nomination, particularly arguing for her visible breakdowns, weight loss, and one-take performance ("I did it all in one take, bitches").
The video is a brief side project for Fitzpatrick who, in addition to her acting career, has a music project of her own with the group The Mots Nouveaux.
