David Harewood Signs Up For 'Anatomy Of Violence' On CBS

David Harewood (Homeland), has signed up to co-star in the CBS CIA-set pilot Anatomy of Violencewritten and produced by his Homeland writer/producer trio – Howard Gordon, Alex Cary and Alex Gansawhich.

Inspired by Adrian Raine’s The Anatomy of Violence: The Biological Roots of Crime, which will center on Dr. Raines, “a criminal psychologist with an expertise in sociopaths who partners with a young female detective with whom he shares a conflicted past.”

Harewood will play Alejo, the special agent in charge, a respected profiler and Raines’ boss and friend. Not too different from the character he played on Homeland.

Since exiting Homeland, Harewood has been busy, signing up for projects here and there. Most notably, he’s attached to star in an independently-produced Paul Robeson biopic.
