Are You Watching 'Loiter Squad' On Adult Swim?

While you’re hoping for a return of In Living Color, you might want to check out this sketch comedy series that airs on Sunday nights on the Adult Swim network, titled, Loiter Squad.

Despite now in its second season, I actually never heard of the series until late last week when I received an email from a rep at Turner Broadcasting, alerting me to it.

Tyler, Lionel, Jasper and Taco are back for a second season of shenanigans in Loiter Squad, a 15 minute live-action show that features sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. The cast, featuring the Los Angeles collective of rappers, artists, and skateboarders, channel their multi-faceted creative talents in this off-the-wall showcase.

Anyone watching the show?

It comes from the same production company (Dickhouse Entertainment) behind hit properties like Jackass and Ridiculousness, which should give you some idea of what to expect, if you’re not already familiar, although I wouldn’t exactly call it Jackass, the black version, because it’s not – based on the few clips I watched this afternoon.

Season 2 premiered over the weekend, on Sunday at Midnight (ET/PT) on Adult Swim, and it airs every Sunday at midnight.

Like I said, I watched a few clips on the show’s website; it’s not what I’d call laugh-out-loud funny (not to me anyway), and it’s definitely not In Living Color, but I thought I should mention it here, so you guys can check it out these young brothas doing their thing for yourselves! You may actually fall in love with the show!

Your Mother :)

This show is the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen.

Temi Olutunmbi

This is honestly the shit. Especially the cat hump gif.

I've seen several episodes and I think it's evolving into something decent. They seem to be moving away from primarily Jackass-type antics and into a pranky-sketchy Tom Green Show meets Trigger Happy TV hybrid. I often fall asleep to Adult Swim and the past couple times this show has aired, I actually enjoyed it…and I hate Tyler the Creator.

Just the previews were enough for me to steer far away from this show last year (and the Eric Andre Show). Just really really stupid, Marijuana drugged junior high school humor with black faces.
