Premiere Of Sci-Fi Series 'Always Night' (Harry Lennix, Delila Vallot, Directed By Carl Weathers)

I was alerted to this by one of the stars of the series, Delila Vallot (a writer/director in her own right, whose last feature film, Tunnel Vision, we highlighted last fall).

It’s a new sci-fi web series directed by Carl Weathers (yes, Action Jackson himself), from a script by written by Art Washington and Zachary Waterfire, starring Harry Lennix, and Ms Vallot, who describes it as “sort of Twilight Zone meets Lost.”

I don’t have an official synopsis for it, but maybe that’s by design. You’ll just have to discover it all for yourself. But hopefully the talent involved is enough to intrigue you.

This is episode 1, which was all shot in one night.

Watch it below:

Impressive first ep. Lennix is always great and vallot is a new face but she played the distant wife quite well for the short clip I saw. Very pretty lady, too. This series has potential. Look fwd to seeing the next ep. "Twilight Zone meets LOST". OK, I'm biting…BTW, that home they shot this at was totally badazz.

"there's nothing to fear…just new things to learn." – I like that. And I'm digging this series. :-)

Interesting. It took a minute for me to get into it, until I understood why the girl was acting so robotic. But, yeah, where's the next episode? I'm anxious to see where it goes.

Wow,that was very good! As a hardcore Sci-Fi fan I'm eagerly awaiting the next episode. Hats off to Carl Weathers and crew for expertly exploring a genre I wish that more African -American directors would hit on. Harry Lennix and Delila Vallot were great and created an almost instant connection .I need to know what happens next!
