Disney to Debut Mickey Mouse "Get A Horse!" at Annecy

The Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced that a “never-before-seen” cartoon short will have its “World Debut” at the Annecy Animation Festival in June. The short will be presented by WDAS filmmakers Lauren MacMullan, Dorothy McKim, and Eric Goldberg.
The mysterious film, titled Get A Horse!, stars Mickey Mouse and the studio confirms that the film features “Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey”.

According to a studio synopsis:
“This black-and-white, hand-drawn short follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical wagon ride—until Peg-Leg Pete shows up and tries to run them off the road.

Sounds like it could be a “classic”. We’ll be keeping our eye on this one.

I saw this in Annecy so I know the answer. But I'm not telling. You should see it!

I wonder how it could have gone unnoticed for so long in the vaults. Are there more undiscovered Mickey shorts??

The things that Disney doesn't say are more telling than what it is saying.
If this was an old (possibly abandoned) short from the '30s suddenly discovered in the vault, I suspect Disney would be likely be excitedly advertising that.

Me thinks this was made to commemorate the mouse's 85th birthday (and the studio's 90th).

Is this for real? So many questions…

Looking forward to this
