Exclusive Clip From Documentary 'Marley Africa Road Trip' (On DVD/VOD 5/7)

In the summer of 2010, the Marley brothers, Ziggy, Rohan and Robbie, took a trip to South Africa, 30 years after their father, Bob Marley, performed at the Independence Concert in Zimbabwe. The brothers’ journey was captured for a new documentary, titled Marley Africa Roadtrip, which will be released on DVD and iTunes on May 7, 2013, via ARC Entertainment.

Directed by David Alexanian, the film follows the brothers while in South Africa, as they experience life in the country, via the people they meet, encounters they have, their highs and lows all documented intimately with a camera crew following them, encouraging them to share their thoughts, memories, frustrations and more.

During the exploration, they also relate the lessons they have learned from their father about family, moral righteousness and revolution, as well as his dream of a unified Africa, as they work to find out what they themselves have done with their his legacy.

The culminates in a performance with local musicians, in Soweto concert.

Ahead of the film’s May 7 DVD/VOD release, S&A has been granted an exclusive clip from the film, featuring Ziggy Marley, which is embedded below. And underneath the clip, you’ll find a full trailer and poster for the film:
