Who Ever did Harper's wardrobe for the Best Man 1. I SWEAR they copied EVERYTHING I WORE.

It fugged me up when people kept asking me had I seen this movie. When I seen it, I feel in love again with ME.

YUP, movies do that.

As to Sergio asking what's the big deal about The Best Man, its is CRYSTAL CLEAR that the peeps that run this sight are Dumb as Fugg and are Devoid of their history. And therefore, devoid of themselves.

No Brainer- you named 10 movies, all with a wide appeal, in a ten year span. Just like you mention the better films, we can't ignore the over abundance of negativity as well. I urged my local art house theatre to show Middle of Nowhere and Medicine for Melancoly as well as their usual fare. I know about the need for greater emphasis on independent black film, that's why I'm on this site. Thanks for your reply.

I'll be looking for the next trailer. This one was mainly a rehash of the first movie. Ya'll aren't slick….I want more clips of the upcoming film. LOL

At the time of its release, The Best Man had the most sought after roles in Hollywood for African Americans. Because of the success of Boys from the Hood, there was a decade of black hood and gangster movies. It was nice to see a well acted, well photographed movie where everyone who was black had a good job and there was not a gun in sight. It's still better than anything Tyler Perry has done (although Tyler's a marketing genius).

Somebody please has to tell me what's the BIG deal with The Best Man? I don't remember a thing about it (even while watching it).

Same goes for love jones and Love and Basketball. Maybe it's because I'm a guy

Ummm…. Yes. Times 10000. People like me are thrilled, but its not for everyone. I'm excited to see my "friends" again. #memories #blackdontcrack

Outside the personal proclivities of the actors, what I personally enjoyed about the first film was the intelligence, friendship and "romance" of a group professional folk of African descent being on display, proudly on display. Not sure where that storyline is going, but the white dude kissing Nia sort of disappointed me.

Damn. They all look madd old….lol. Started it all? Started what? The black wedding movies? I guess so.

It looks like good Black don't crack!

So I guess the hot trend nowadays is successful Black Women getting their trophy White Man? Interesting…

Everyone looks Great! I hope they continue to make positive romantic movies like this, it never gets boring or old to me when I see african americans portrayed in a postive light. No thugs, guns, drug addicts or hoochies.

I just feel kinda blah about it. No shade. No hate. Just blah. Should've left it alone did something else. All these black romantic comedies are starting to blend into each other. Doesn't help that the same group of actors just seem to rotate through all of them. I hope after they all come out we'll move on to something else.

Love all the Actors in the film hope it's a great script not just a name drop to get you to the movies!

Looks like someone got the release date right…

Amazing that they were able to reassemble the entire main cast. Everyone looks great. I'm on board!

That's why it's called a teaser trailer, it's not supposed to give out many details.

Good to see, although I think the music was a little heavy handed.
They trying to push the soundtrack to early!

It just occurred to me that the white dude that kissed Nia Long, did that to mark his territory: "this is my woman" lol

Love, love, love this movie!

As much as I want to see this movie, this trailer is kind of corny.

I can't front, that trailer brought back SO many good memories man LOL, that movie really did make a mark on me. I'm officially in the "rooting for it" camp!
