About the Production:

“The Discoverers began with the idea of exploring family: how it can be
full of comedy and pain (often simultaneously), how it is both our
source of strength and the origin of all our problems. In case the title
wasn’t a giveaway, the film’s about discovery: discovering family,
discovering yourself, discovering history, nature, the road …
discovering America. More than 200 creative people came together to make
this movie, journeying from the city to suburb, from deep into the
forest to the brink of the Pacific and we all experienced our own
personal discoveries that we hope resonate on screen.” –Justin Schwarz
