About the Production:
“All of us have moments that have crystallized for us the power of
the community we inhabit, however fleeting. As we grow, we lose touch
with those communities that shaped our lives. “The Golden Age of
Hustlers” is an elegy to the community that Bambi Lake found herself a
part of in 1970s San Francisco and Justin’s rendition transports you to
that moment with crystal clarity. We want to pay homage to that golden
age and to the power of Justin’s performance with a video that will
bring the viewer into that world.” — Silas Howard
