Watch Episode 1 Of Orlando Jones' New Digital Series 'Tainted Love'

I shared the trailer last week; episode 1 is now online, and is embedded below.

Orlando Jones new digital series airing exclusively on the popular Machinima Prime channel on YouTube, launched yesterday, Sunday, May 5.

Titled Tainted Love, here’s a description:
A fast-paced and visceral story of true love against all odds focusing on two expectant parents; one a quick-witted hitman/bagman and the other a well-intended yet hopelessly inept thief. Black Barry will stop at nothing to protect Jezebel from his insanely vengeful boss Fred Lucas after a lapse in judgment causes Jezebel to rob Lucas, and the bodies start to pile up.
It’s further described as a graphic novel style action comedy, which was created by Jones himself.
Avi Youabian directs, with Deanna Russo, Maz Jobrani, Jim Jefferies and Eric Roberts rounding out the cast.

Ha, this is kind of awesome. Funny, and slick in a lot of ways. Few gripes: 1. Why is it that when there's a multiracial cast they always expose for the white people lighting-wise? Makes all the dark faces look flat. 2. For heaven's sake, cut back on the blaccents. 3. If we're supposed to believe that Orlando Jones is 32… (snickers)

Tough crowd here. I enjoyed it.

NO BRAINER

It's trying way too hard to cater to the A.D.D. crowd without doing little things like, introducing characters, setting up story, etc. I would hate to think them having a baby is the catalyst for what would be the events to follow. Why? Because it's not enough for me to take the journey with them as they bumble about, trying to get money. I saw the humor in the customer trying to be the voice of reason, but it wasn't enough. I barely chuckled at any of it. It's good to see Orlando Bloom keep it going for himself career wise but this isn't for me. Sorry.

Akimbo

Literally all over the place. I see what they're going for but it didn't quite gel for me. I did laugh when the customer started chiming in on the robbery and was glad ol girl got called out on "break yourself," though! I'm a fan of Orlando's but won't be watching again.

"What kind of robbery is this" ad infinitum.
