FIRST LOOK: The Trailer for “The Lego Movie”

FIRST LOOK: The Trailer for "The Lego Movie"

From directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord (the duo behind the original Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs), comes The Lego Movie from Warner Bros. on February 7th 2014It’s the first-ever, full-length theatrical Lego adventure, and it looks GOOD! It stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Here’s the teaser. It feels like a winner.

I love Lego. And I'll love this movie.
Nice how they got the animation to look like stop motion. What studio is doing this?

"I'm Emmet, and I'll be your Peter Griffin for this evening."

Oh noes! If our viewer identification character isn't a clumsy, childish douche with ADD, someone in our marketing team might snap us with a towel.

This knocked the socks off my feet!

I was lost after those crappy Pixar releases but now I'm found.

You know for a toy movie, that was rather bizarre. Not sure if the planned Trolls film will ever top that.
