Nate Parker, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Omari Hardwick Star In PTSD Drama 'Lu' (Trailer, Poster)

Teaser trailer below for a short film titled Lu, which stars Nate Parker, Emayatzy Corinealdi, and Omari Hardwick.

The Blue Angel Entertainment project is directed by Korstiaan Vandiver, and is said to be based on the true story of Luigino Lobello, a former Marine.
Here’s a synopsis:
LU tells the story of a Marine diagnosed with Posttraumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD) who sets out years later to find a woman caught in the crossfire
during a firefight in Iraq. As the film seeks to shed new light on an issue that oftentimes
doesn’t get the attention that it deserves, LU is a poignant piece that is sure to resonate
with the countless veterans and their families whose lives have been directly impacted
by PTSD.
Nate Parker stars as the title character, Lu, with Saye Yabandeh rounding out the starring cast, with Corinealdi and Hardwick (reteaming after co-starring in Ava DuVernay’s Middle Of Nowhere last year).
Vandiver, Lobello and Richard Shehane collaborated on the script.
Lu is a production
of Blue Angel Entertainment, Innervision Filmworks, and Exodus Entertainment Studios.
