About the Production:

“I…love…this…book. The second I read the last page, I knew
this was a movie I had to direct. Carrie Pilby is such a relatable
character, and not just for young women. We have put together a terrific
team to bring this story to life. Suzanne Farwell and Susan Cartsonis
are two of the best creative producers working today and their support
is humbling. We are also honored that Caren Lissner is trusting us with
her story. Caren’s been a constant source of inspiration for us and an
invaluable resource as production of the feature film begins.” — Susan Johnson

I actually read the novel when it came out and it's great fun – sort of like a modern female Holden Caulfield thrust into NYC after graduating from Harvard at age 19. Looking forward to what these women do with it. A better logline might be: Introverted girl genius graduates from Harvard early and makes bumbling attempts to fit into dating and worklife in New York City.
