3000 acre historic backlot near Richmond featuring farm, wharf, sailing ship, paddle wheel ship, battlefields, river, farmland. Richmond and Petersburg double for Washington, DC and historic urban areas. Atlantic Ocean, Chesapeake Bay, Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Mountains, Jamestowne, Williamsburg, Fort Monroe.
Are there studios and soundstages that the state hosts that filmmakers should know about?
New Millenium Studios in Petersburg and New Dominion Pictures in Suffolk. Smaller studios throughout the state.
