TOH! Lists the Ten Best Films of 2013... So Far

As the Film Society of Lincoln Center unveils their Best Movies of 2013 (So Far) list, we here at TOH! are joining in on the fun and compiling our own lists showcasing the top ten titles of the first half of the year. Films are limited to those already released theatrically in 2013–hence the foreign titles that graced festivals last year. See our selections, plus trailers and clips, below.

The Film Society’s No. 1 film is Anne’s top pick, Richard Linklater’s deserving “Before Midnight,” which made it into three different lists, albeit at varying ranks. We all have different films at No. 1.

It's been a slow film year. The only movie I really liked is Post Tenebras Lux. I was praying that it would never end.
