Exclusive Video: Jane Lynch, Josh Radnor, Kathryn Hahn and Juno Temple Discuss 'Afternoon Delight' With Indiewire

Jill Soloway’s debut feature “Afternoon Delight” premiered late at this
year’s Sundance Film Festival and was a surprise winner for the
Dramatic Directing Award, garnering solid word of mouth for its
off-kilter plot and strong ensemble, led by the underutilized-until-now
Kathryn Hahn, in her first lead role.

Soloway, a well known producer for hit HBO shows
like “Six Feet Under” and “United States of Tara,” has
transitioned smoothly to the big screen with a writing-directing debut that’s as adventurous and provocative as the shows that made her
name.

In the film, Hahn plays a bored L.A. housewife, who tries
to “rescue” a stripper (Juno Temple) by hiring
her as a live-in nanny. Complications ensue when her husband (Josh
Radnor) and close friends start to question her surprising decision. Jane Lynch gives a hilarious supporting turn as Hahn’s cocky therapist.

I sat down with Lynch, Radnor, Hahn and Temple at Sundance to discuss working together on the film and Soloway’s unique presence during the film’s production. “Afternoon Delight” comes out this Friday, August 30th. Watch our full chat below:
