According to his IMDB page, Idris Elba’s career as a screen actor started in 1994, with an appearance on a British sci-fi series called Space Precinct, playing a pizza delivery man. That’s exactly what his IMDB calls the character – pizza delivery man. 
He appeared in just one episode, in 2 scenes, which you’ll see below.
He was just 22 years old.
Apparently, Elba’s American accent wasn’t as good as he’s able to speak with now, almost 20 years later, that the show’s producers had to dub his dialogue with another actor’s voice, to hilarious effect!
The futuristic series followed the extraterrestrial adventures of a crime fighter on the planet Altor, inhabited by both humans and aliens.

They should have overdubbed Elba's voice in Prometheus. He sounded like a cross between Foghorn Leghorn and the Dowager Countess
