“Just the Three of Us“
African-American woman and Hank, a Caucasian man who have been married
for 50 years. As with many long marriages, the passion quietly fizzled
out a while ago so they made a radical decision, “What about a
threesome?” The short takes place one afternoon in a Brooklyn coffee
house where they meet people who respond to their ad in Craigslist’s
Casual Encounters. Through these meetings, they learn about their
marriage and themselves.

About the Production:
rise of STDs in retirement communities. I was surprised by the phenomena
and began reading more about elder sexuality. This inspired me to make a
“Making a film like this about an African American woman in her 70s
exploring elements of sexuality and her societal given role as caretaker
feels really exciting. As an African American woman myself, I know how
taboo discussion about sexuality is and I am interested in making a
