Elevator Pitch:

A group of thieves reunite five years after a failed heist to determine what went wrong and who is to blame as they attempt to recover the missing loot. Starring: Max Casella (The Sopranos, Blue Jasmine, Inside Llewyn Davis, Killing Them Softly, Spike Lee’s OldBoy) and 4x Tony-nominated actor Danny Burstein (Boardwalk Empire). This is the debut feature from writer/director Scott Kawczynski.

Production Team:
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
Scott Kawczynski is Brooklyn-based Director, Screenwriter, Production Designer and Art Director. Accolades include winning an Emmy Award as Production Designer for “MTV Unplugged” and and Oscar nomination as Production Designer for the Documentary Short “Two Hands” (2007). His first short film “15 Below Zero” premiered at the Fear No Film Festival in Salt Lake City. This is his directorial debut.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY BIOGRAPHY
Rick Siegel is an award winning Director of Photography and Lighting Designer for narrative films and television. He was DP on the feature film “Bomber” which starred Shane Taylor, Ben Whitrow & Eileen Nicholas and won Best Feature at several major film festivals. He also lensed the short film “The Shovel”, starring David Strathairn, which won Best Short award at the Tribeca Film Festival.

About the Production:

As writer and director, I am extremely proud of the film. With a small and tight knit group of talented cast and crew, we shot the entire film in 13 days of intense collaboration, the essence of micro-budget, independent filmmaking.

Staring Max Casella (Inside Llewyn Davis, Blue Jasmine, Fading Gigolo, Killing Them Softly, The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire), Danny Burstein (4x Tony Nominated Actor, Boardwalk Empire, Transamerica) and a strong group of up and coming young actors, it was an incredible experience for all involved.

Current Status:

Post-production.

I have seen a great deal of Max's work. He's a versatile and mature actor with style and intellect–even if he's playing a no good chump. I also applaud the fact that he is willing to get involved with projects that are out of the Hollywood mainstream. The cast looks like an interesting ensemble.

Craig

Richard Young

Well, I like Max Casella so of course I am interested. He did a great job in Blue Jasmine, the entire theater was laughing out loud. I enjoyed his role in the Soprano's and felt he needed a bigger part. This movie is right up my ally. It has the core conflicts that I like, mystery mixed with action. I am tired of the same faces on all the movies and look forward to seeing some new talent.

Yes this is one I would go see. Look forward to seeing it in the theater.

Dorota Czerner
