We’ve waited seven years for “Gravity” since Cuaron’s last film, “Children of Men,” in 2006 — one of the best films of the decade. “Gravity” made its world premiere at Venice last month and its North American premiere at Telluride last weekend, and each screening was more rapturously praised than the last. Critics are talking Oscar noms for Bullock, Cuaron and the visual effects. In a recent Variety story, “Avatar” director James Cameron called “Gravity” the best space film ever made.
The wait is almost over. “Gravity” opens wide October 4. Our Venice Film Festival review is here. Trailer below.
