WATCH: Lynn Shelton Talks 'Touchy Feely' for NY Times Anatomy of a Scene

Check out this “Anatomy of a Scene” video feature from the New York Times, where director Lynn Shelton talks a pivotal scene from her new film “Touchy Feely,” starring Rosemarie DeWitt, Ellen Page, Allison Janney and Josh Pais.

Here she discusses the scripted vs. improvised moments of the film, about a massage therapist’s sudden aversion to bodily contact and its effect on her brother’s dental practice. Seattle-based auteur Shelton previously directed “Your Sister’s Sister” (2011) and “Humpday” (2009).

The film is out on VOD now and opens Friday via Magnolia Pictures. Read our TOH! review of the film and watch our video interview with Shelton and DeWitt from Sundance 2013 here.
