WATCH: Savory Clips and Video Interview from French Foodie Film 'Haute Cuisine'

Bon appetit! Clips from the French foodie film “Haute Cuisine,” based on the true story of pioneering chef Daniele Delpeuch, have arrived. These appetizing teases give us a piquant glimpse at some of the gorgeously shot food in the film, which has been making its way through festivals since 2012 and opens September 20.

Food hasn’t looked this mouth-watering onscreen since Tilda Swinton swooned over a plate of prawns in “I Am Love.”

Also online is a video interview with the real life chef who inspired the film (below). Re-dubbed Hortense Laborie in this retelling, Delpeuch was cooking at her French country restaurant when she was hired to serve as the personal chef of President Francois Mitterand in 1988. Harvey Weinstein talked about the film at a Sundance Q & A earlier this year here.

Directed by Christian Vincent and starring Catherine Frot, the film hits stateside theaters September 20. Check out the trailer here. Bite into a first clip from the film below, and watch the Huffington Post video interview with Daniele Mazet-Delpeuch.
