“Pop Meets the Void“
Tweetable Logline:
A dark comedy about a musician who’s been working on his first
album for almost 15 years, Pop Meets the Void is a twisted indie-music film. |
Elevator Pitch:
POP MEETS THE VOID is a part live-action, |
Animation & VFX – Jonathan Weiss (vfx. Welcome to Nowhere)
Producer – TaraFawn Marek – (prod. Welcome to Nowhere)
Cinematographer – Bart Cortright (feature debut)
About the Production:
always wondered what would have happened had I pursued my dream of
becoming a professional musician – my guess is it would have been a
disaster. Things have changed so much since I was a teenager in the 90’s
– the rise of the Internet and the collapse of the music industry have
given re-birth to the musician industry, and now anyone can create and
distribute high quality recordings. From 2010-2012, I gave that a try to
see what it’s like – those experiences spawned this film.” — William Cusick
Current Status:
Pre-production.
