Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt Make TV Appearances on Road to Oscars (VIDEO)

Movie stars do the talk shows in front of their movies, and Sandra Bullock, a frontrunner for Best Actress for “Gravity,” and Brad Pitt, the producer and supporting star of “12 Years a Slave,” are no exception, charming their interviewers (Jay Leno and Ann Curry, respectively) and hopefully a smattering of Oscar voters at the same time. “It’s one of those few films that cuts to the base of our humanity,” says Pitt, in long-hair mode. “This one will have continuing impact.”
Meanwhile Michael Fassbender, who went all out on campaigning for Steve McQueen’s “Shame,” says he will not do that again for “12 Years a Slave.” Well, it worked for Martin Scorsese and Mo’Nique when they did it. It could work for Fassbender too.
