Dwyane Wade's Bestselling Memoir, 'A Father First,' Is Becoming A Comedy TV Series At Fox

NBA star Dwyane Wade’s bestselling memoir, A Father First, is being adapted to screen by Fox as a comedy TV series to be titled Three The Hard Way

In the book, Wade shares his thoughts on fathers and sons, writing about the gratifying responsibilities of being a single dad to his two sons, Zaire and Zion, while recounting his own growing up years and his rise to the top echelon of pro basketball.

Fox has assigned the project to scribe Ben Watkins (Burn Notice) to adapt, and exec produce along with Wade.
Mike Tollin of Mandalay Sports Media and director Justin Lin (the Fast & Furious franchise) as well as Danielle Woodrow, and Troy Craig Poon producing through Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment

I hope the mother isn't portrayed as a crazy person. Not saying Wade's ex-wife is, but she is definitely reported that way.


@Sergio – Why is this man's commitment to his children being questioned? Did you know that he also takes care of his nephew who's even younger than his boys? That's a hell of a lot of responsibility to take on in the name of "image."

So can someone tell me exactly what is the story about Wade and his ex-wife? I understand he got custody of his kids because she was unfit. But is that the real story? I hear that his caring father thing is more image than fact and that his ex-wife is getting really bum rap
