Watch Jeffrey Wright As Beetee School Katniss In New 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Clip

Here’s a brief look at Jeffrey Wright as Beetee in the much-anticipated Hunger Games sequel, based on Suzanne Collins’ novel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which opens this weekend.

Wright appeared on Good Morning America to talk about the movie and how Beetee fits into the narrative, and brought along a new clip from the film with him, which includes a glimpse at his character at work.

Who’s Beetee? Courtesy of the Hunger Games wiki:

Hailing from District 3, Beetee was given the nickname “Volts”
by the other victors of the years after his victory and his knowledge
about manipulating electricity. Together with Wiress (his companion,
who never left his side during the 75th Hunger Games), they were called
“Nuts and Volts.” He and Wiress got the trust of Katniss when they were
training for the games. Wiress and Beetee were two of the many Tributes
who were called upon by Haymitch to protect Katniss and Peeta no matter
what in the arena, but they were also meant to be protected as a means
to stop the Games forever.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon KilikThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark.
Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and
close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along
the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is
still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Love him! Very rich actor but I am passing on this movie. I couldn't stand the first one and I don't get the appeal of the storyline. But it will make lots of money no doubt so congrats to Mr Wright.
