2014 Golden Globe Predictions: Best TV Drama Actor

Indiewire will provide regular updates of our predictions for the
Golden Globe Awards through January 12th, when the winners are announced.

Very tough call. Bryan Cranston could make up for his shocking Emmy loss to Jeff Daniels (who the Globes didn’t even nominate) here, though Kevin Spacey seems ripe to be the Globes’ way of honoring “House of Cards.” Though even James Spader and Michael Sheen have shots to win as well.

Our take below. Check out all predictions in all the categories here.

The nominees:
Bryan Cranston – “Breaking Bad”
Liev Schreiber – “Ray Donovan”
Michael Sheen – “Masters Of Sex”
Kevin Spacey – “House Of Cards”
James Spader – “The Blacklist”

Will win: Kevin Spacey – “House Of Cards”
Could win: Bryan Cranston – “Breaking Bad”
Should win: Bryan Cranston – “Breaking Bad”

Kevin Spacey is great, I won't deny that, but Bryan Cranston's performance in BB last 8 episodes was the best I have seen on TV by far.
