Or at least that’s what we’re hoping. FX this morning announced that it has order a pilot for a comedy series created by and starring Zach Galifianakis.
There are no more details on what the not-yet-titled potential series is about yet, but it is co-written by Louis C.K., whose “Louie” will be returning to FX for a fourth season in May. The pilot is the first project to come from the overall deal C.K. announced with FX last month to develop and produce new series for the network via his company Pig Newton.
Galifianakis will executive produce the comedy alongside C.K., Blair Breard, Dave Becky, Andrea Pett-Joseph and Marc Gurvitz. FX Productions has 12 comedy pilots currently in production.
