Watch: This Week's 'The Simpsons' Includes a Tribute to Hayao Miyazaki

This Sunday, January 12th’s episode of “The Simpsons” will feature a new couch gag from Bill Plympton and a tribute to another distinctive animator — Hayao Miyazaki. The clip from the upcoming episode below, which Fox describes as a “tribute to anime,” is clearly a specific salute to the Japanese master, whose recently released “The Wind Rises” is also his final film before retirement.
