Watch: A Teenage Girl Navigates Her Sexuality in ‘It Felt Like Love’ Trailer

Watch: A Teenage Girl Navigates Her Sexuality in 'It Felt Like Love' Trailer

Welcome to a world of complicated teenage sexuality. In her feature debut “It Felt Like Love”, Eliza Hittman presents us with Lila, an innocent 14-year-old who delves into a steamy romance with bad boy Sammy.

It’s all been done before, but “It Felt Like Love” looks earnest, refreshing and sweet. Newcomer Gina Piersanti stars as Lila, who is spending her summer in a working class Brooklyn neighborhood and yearns to be just as experienced as her best friend. Another newbie Ronen Rubinstein stars as Sammy.

“It Felt Like Love” will be released in New York on March 21st and will be distributed by Variance Films. Check out the trailer below.

Saw this at London Film Fest last year. It was the worst film I saw at the fest and possibly one of the worst films I saw all year.
It was a poorly shot, redundant version of a movie tackled a million times better before. Just watch 'KIDS' again, it still holds up and puts 'It felt like love' to shame.
